We are launching a competition to select designs for a memorial bench dedicated to Alexei Navalny, which will be installed (link) near the Russian Embassy in Helsinki.
You can create a sketch using any computer program that is convenient for you or draw your vision on paper and send us a scan or photo. Along with your sketch, please include a description explaining why you chose this particular design for the memorial bench.
Keep in mind that the bench should blend harmoniously into the Finnish/European urban space, be safe, and durable.
If desired, you can familiarize yourself with the regulations for installing park furniture in Helsinki (link 1 and link 2). However, since this is a special memorial bench, reasonable deviations from city requirements are allowed.

At the final stage, we will select the best sketches based on their feasibility, obtain preliminary city approval, and then, through public voting, collectively decide which design will be brought to life.
