On March 8, in honor of International Women’s Day, join the march for equality and women's rights in Helsinki!
In Finland, the fight for equality has been ongoing for over 130 years, and now is not the time to give up. Women’s and minority rights must not be pushed back – let’s move forward together! Let’s show that we will not be silenced.

🎤 Speeches and musical performances will begin at 13:00 at Senate Square (Senaatintori).Speakers and performers include:
• Adikia – rap artist
• Rojin Birzoi – human rights activist
• Trade unions Pro, PAM, SAK
• "Kantti kestää" choir
• F – artist
• Former President of Finland Tarja Halonen
📍 The march will start at 14:00, moving from Senate Square to Kansalaistori.
👚 We encourage all participants to wear black or pink if possible – these are the symbolic colors of the march.
✍️ If you cannot attend the march in person, you can still support the initiative by signing the petition to strengthen the rights of girls and women in Finland.
