"Noon Against Putin" Protest

The founders of Initiative FoReDi, along with many Russian residents of Finland, came to the Russian Embassy in Helsinki to express their protest against Putin's policies. The cold and wind did not deter those who wished to cast their vote, and many stood in line for 4-5 hours.

More than 1,000 people were surveyed in an exit poll in Helsinki:

• V.A. Davankov: 42%

• Declined to answer: 27%

• Spoiled ballot: 20%

• V.V. Putin: 8%

• L.V. Slutsky: 1%

• N.M. Kharitonov: 1%

• Took the ballot with them: 1%
